Session Proposals


The MHD2022 Conference Organizing Committee evaluates all proposals submitted for the conference. The information that you include in your submission will be used by the reviewers to understand your proposal and what the proposed session will offer attendees, help MHD2022 committees market your session, and help attendees find the sessions most relevant to them. Below is a brief outline of proposal-submission items and an example submission.

All submissions must be submitted by January 28, 2022.

EXAMPLE PROPOSAL (right click to download)

  • Concise and engaging title encompassing the purpose and main theme of the session.
  • Name, credentials, affiliation(s), and contact information, as you would like it to appear on program materials.
  • 150 word or less describing the theme and scientific premise for the session.
  • At least 1-2 broad statements that describe the purpose of the session.
  • At least 2-3 measurable statements describing what attendees will be able to do or know by the end of the session.
  • List all audio/visual requirements, even if it seems counterintuitive. Examples include: PowerPoint presentation software, slide advancer, capabilities to stream YouTube or similar video or audio, panelist table and chairs, microphone, podium, etc.
  • Indicate the general format type of the session, as well as a list of speakers with affiliations and e-mail addresses.
